Well, I’m back to making birthday cards… This year I am going to work ahead! LOL! Maybe…
My niece has a friend that is turning 25 and wanted a special card to give to him on his birthday. I had recently purchased Birthday Wishes from Art Impressions but hadn’t had time to use it yet. I love their stamps! They have a line of stamps that all seem to have a sense of humor. LOL!
I used my Copics to color the image and have listed the colors I used at the bottom of this post. I added the dots using my Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen. I heat embossed the “Happy Birthday” from the stamp sent using Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder.
I die cut the numbers “2” and “5” using the Numbered Balloons die from Avery Elle. I had some blue glitter paper that I thought would be great for the balloons. This would make them stand out a little more than the ones I colored with my Copics.
I used my Stitched Rectangles die from Lawn Fawn to cut the image out. The background paper is some I had in my stash. After adhering my image and the cut out balloons, I thought it needed a little something more. I didn’t have time for my Nuvo Crystal Drops to dry, so I dug in my stash and found some pre-made enamel dots.
I usually also add something to the inside of my cards. For this card, I used another of the images from the same Birthday Wishes stamp set.
I also used my Copics to color this image and then added some details using my Uni-ball Signo White Gel Pen to add some pattern to his shirt and shorts. The sentiment is also from the same stamp set.
It really is a great stamp set with so many options all in one stamp set!
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!

Thanks! I loved it too. I didn’t pay close attention to the sentiments that came with the stamp set. LOL! I was more focused on the images.

Crikey, ~I am so glad to finally be able to comment. I tried for ages yesterday but WP and the internet were just not letting me! Anyway, I really needed to stop by and admire your lovely card. And also be reminded of what I may look like holding a cake over my head…..

You really brought to her life for me. I can almost imagine her a little English with an operatic off-key singing voice! The balloons are perfect. I have to say at this age, I love that sentiment! Love these cards!
