Happy Mother’s Day to all mothers! I made another Mother’s Day card again using a stamp from Gina K’s A Year of Flowers. This time, I stamped the image on water color paper using Distress Inks, dried the ink, and then carefully water colored the image with the same inks.. I really liked this version of the water coloring.
Here is what I came up with…
I decided to cut out the images before adhering them to the card. I cut out Marianne Die LR0269 and added it to the card after sponging some Distress Ink to the die cut. I used a second Marianne Die, L0154 to cut a tag for my sentiment. I attached some darker purple paper to the back of the tag and then added some Holo Iridescent Glitter Liner from Viva to the cut out parts of the die. I added the first and third flower to the card layer, and then popped the second and fourth up with pop dots.
Another look…
I used a sentiment from Hero Arts with Ranger Liquid Platinum embossing powder. To finish the front, I added a bow from ribbon in my stash.
And one final look…
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
