Mother’s Day Card

For Mother’s Day, I made a quick and easy card.  I used a stamp from Gina K’s A Year of Flowers.  I stamped the image and then embossed it in using clear embossing powder.  I then tried using Stampin Up inks with water to color the image.  It was really easy to do and didn’t turn out too bad!

Here is what I came up with…

I wanted to keep the card simple, so after coloring the images, I simply added some black paper around the image and then layered some pattern paper behind the image.  I added some pearls to the front.

A peek inside…

The sentiment is computer generated.  I used a die from Stampin Up to cut the sentiment on the inside and then layered it with the same paper I used on the front of the card.

And one final look…

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a great day!
