DIY Birthday Card with Gina K Delicate Flowers Stamp & Die

When I foiled Gina K’s Delicate Flowers Poly-Glaze sheets, I had a number of different images after creating my first card here. (7/27) I saved all of the images I did not use. I often save left over images that I can use to quickly put together a card if I need one.

My card today makes use of some of the images I had left over from my foiling.

For my card base:

  • I cut a white and black card panel using Master Layouts #1.
  • I added my card stock to my sticky mat and placed the Twirl-It Gingham stencil over my cardstock and added my first layer of color.
  • I then rotated the stencil one quarter turn and added a second layer of color.
  • Once I had my stenciling done, I added the black mat and then added it to my card base.

To finish my card:

  • Because I had previously foiled my images, I only needed to add some color.
  • I added each of the pieces to my sticky mat and applied color using my blending brushes.
  • When I had originally cut out the images, I had cut out several additional ones from white cardstock so that I could add them to the back of my colored images. I did add three to the back of each of the die cuts.
  • I added the leaves to my card and then added the flower over the top where the leaves met in the center of the card.

Because I was just adding this card to my stash, I did not add any sentiments or embellishments. I will add those when I need a quick card.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
