I have another birthday card to share where I used the shaving cream technique for my background. For the shaving cream background I used Bubblegum and Wild Wisteria re-inkers. It created a soft pretty background.

For my focal image, I used Gina K’s Lovely Flowers stamp set with matching die and stencils. I used the stencil set to color my image. For the image I used Wild Lilac and Lovely Lavender and for the foilage I used Fresh Asparagas, Jelly Bean Green and Blue Lagoon. I added a little bit of colored pencil to enhance the colors and deepen the shadows. Once I had my image colored, I used the matching die to cut the image out. I cut two additional images out of white cardstock to add to the back of my colored image so I could pop it up.

My sentiment is from the stamp set Slay Queen by Gina K. I stamped the sentiment in Wild Lilac and then used the matching die to cut it out. I added Glossy Accents to my sentiment instead of heat embossing it as it is a smaller size, although I probably should have heat embossed it as I was a little messy with my Glossy Accents. I added my image to a black mat and then to a Wild Lilac card base. I added some jewels from Sugar Plum Jewels mix from Pretty Pink Posh and my card was complete.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
