Happy Birthday!

After taking a break to re-organize and inventory my craft supplies, I’m back to creating cards for my many family members and friends.

I recently saw a YouTube video from Jennifer McGuire creating a card using a technique to create a simple interactive card. I decided to try this technique myself. I found it pretty easy to do.

I used Concord & 9th’s Celebration Turnabout Stamp to create my background using Ocean, Pucker, Surf and Cheeky inks.

To create my sentiment and interactive card, I used the Basic Box Card Happy Birthday die for my sentiment. I die cut it from some Peaccock Teal cardstock and added Glossy Accents to give it some shine. The opening was created the opening using Layered Circle Dies to cut out the window.

The inside sentiment is from Best Year Yet and stamped in the same Ocean ink. I added a few Bright Candy Dots and my card was finished.

One final look….

Thanks for stopping by!
