Birthday Mail

I have a birthday card to share today. This card is a little different from my usual cards.

For the background of this card, I used Pinkfresh Studios Modern Design Blocks hot foil plate and matching stencil. I used some brown foil first with the hot foil plate. I then added the ink using the matching stencil and Simon Says Pawsitively Saturated Inks.

I mounted my panel to a piece of gray cardstock. I then used Spellbinder’s Parcel & Post Mailbox to die cut the mailbox and letters.

The sentiment is from Spellbinder’s Parcel & Post Sentiments. I added some accents using a silver gel pen.

This card came together pretty quickly. I think I am so use to cards taking a lot longer because I color images which take several hours for just the coloring!

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

Supplies used:

Pinkfresh Studios – Modern Design Blocks Hot Foil Plate, Modern Design Blocks Stencil

Spellbinders – Parcel & Post Mailbox, Parcel & Post Sentiments

Inks:

Simons Says Pawsitively Saturated Inks – Ocean, Surf, Seafoam, Grapefruit, Peachy

Lovely! The silver makes a big difference. I’m so used to spending an hour or more colouring that it always feels like cheating if I put a card together quickly!

Thanks Sarah! I feel the same way about cards and coloring! I’m trying to get used to doing both and not feel guilty if there is no coloring on a card.
