Masculine cards are always a struggle for me. Since the recipient lives near a beach, I decided to create a beach scene for his birthday.

I have a couple of die sets from My Favorite Things that were perfect to create a beach house and some palm trees. I also had a die set from Gina K that creates a beach umbrella and chair.

For my background, I used Gina K’s Sea, Sun and Sky stencil with Gina K inks. After die cutting my images I used some ink to add some more color to the images. I used some foam tape to add some dimension to my scene. My sentiment came from Gina K’s Ocean Silhouettes.
