Cupcake Birthday

Today’s card is another birthday card. I had watched one of Jennifer McGuire‘s recent YouTube videos on making a card with instant dimension. I wanted something different for my card so I decided to give it a try.

I first used Pretty Pink Posh’s Cupcakes stencil to create the background. I used Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Inks with my blending brushes. I centered one of the circle dies from Pink & Main to cut out the center.

Using Birthday Wishes Moonlight Script from Poppy Stamps, I cut out my sentiment on some red striped paper and the shadow out of white cardstock. I centered my sentiment on the circle that I had previously cut out. I then added the circle onto the pop-up portion of my card being careful to line up the stenciled background.

This card was easy to make and I will probably be making another card using this same technique.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
