Kitty Butterfly

Our challenge this time at Di’s Digi Stamps is Things with Wings/Tails. For my card I used Kitty Butterfly. It is such a cute image!

I colored my image with my Copic markers and then used an older die that I had to cut my image out.

I added some sparkle to the butterfly wings using AtYou Spica pens in clear, lavender, sky blue and lemon. It is hard to photograph the sparkle it added because it reflects the light.

For my background, I first foiled a background using Gina K’s Poly-Glaze Foiling Sheets, Delicate Basket with some light green foil. I then added the leafy corners using Pinkfresh Studio’s Leafy Background stencil with inks from Simon Says Stamp.

I added some enamel hearts and glitter dots to finish off my card. I didn’t add a sentiment as I sometimes needs cards other than birthday cards and I don’t have a stash of cards for other occasions.
