Spring Bunny

We have another challenge at Di’s Digital Stamps. Our challenge this time is Mixed Media. We hope you will join us.

For my card today, I choose Spring Bunny This is such a cute image that can be used for a lot of different occasions. I needed a birthday card and this image was perfect.

I colored the image first with my Copic markers and then added more details with my colored pencils.

For my background, I used a background stamp, Magnolia, from Pink Fresh Studio. It has a matching stencil, so I colored in part of the image using the stencil and some Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks in Bubblegum, Sweets, Fairway and Field. I cut out my image and added some foam squares to the back to pop it up on my card.

For my sentiment, I had some alcohol inks. I have had the inks for some time, but had never used them. I created a page using some blues and pinks. After my paper was dry, I used a birthday die from Simon Says Stamp to cut my sentiment out. I cut the shadow from some vellum paper as I didn’t want to hide my background.

One last look…..
