Christmas in March?

I am so far behind in posting my cards! I am going to be retiring in a few weeks, and hopefully I will then be able to keep up with the posting of my cards! LOL!

I usually make one design of a Christmas card each year and then make about 60 of them to send to family and friends.

Since I make so many of the same design, I found one that Jennifer McGuire had made and added my own twist. I first used the shadow die for Merry to cut out the middle of my card stock. I then used the Filigree Snow Flakes embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp after rubbing the back of my card stock with a baby wipe.

I then used a sponge dauber and added some white pigment ink to the raised image. Because pigment ink takes a little bit of time to dry, I was able to add some clear glitter to the top to add some sparkle to the card base.

I then cut out the Merry and adhered it into the space I had die cut with the shadow. I added Glossy Accents to the word to make it shine.

I white heat embossed the Christmas from the Gina K Seasonal Greetings Stamp set onto the same color of card stock as my card.

The card came together pretty fast by completing each step for all of the cards before moving onto the next step.

One last look…

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
