Warm Winter Wishes

Our challenge this time over at Di’s Digi Challenge is “Add a Tag”.

For my card, I chose Snowman & Robin. I wanted to use my colored pencils for a change, I printed the image on some dark blue cardstock and used my Polychromo pencils to color the image.

I wanted to create a winter scene, so I used the Filigree Snowflakes embossing folder from Simon Says Stamp on some light blue card stock. I recently purchased some Lunar Paste in Clear Skies and wanted to try it out. I added it to the embossed paper. This added some sheen (which is hard to photograph).

I also recently purchased the Classic Pair of Ice Skates from Memory Box and thought they would go perfectly with my card. I added some foam tape to the back of my tag and a little bit under one of the skates. The second skate I adhered directly to my card. My sentiment is from Stamping Bella, Winter Holiday Sentiments (I believe it is no longer available).

One more look….

We hope you can join us this time at Di’s Digi Challenge! We would love to see your cards with a tag added!
