Fold It Fancy

It’s time for a new challenge at Di’s Digi Challenge! Our challenge for this time is “Fold It Fancy”. Come join us with your fancy fold projects! For my card, I used Champagne Cup Cake.

I colored the image using my Copic markers and then fussy cut the image out.

I don’t make “fancy fold” cards very often, but found this design that Jennifer McGuire recently showed how to make. I thought I would give it a try for my card. It was really pretty easy to follow her. I did change my card up a bit by adding the belly band.

After creating the card base, I added some pattern paper from my stash to the front sides of my card and the belly band. My sentiment on the front is from Spellbinders Glimmer Hot Foil, Mini Everyday Sentiments. My sentiment on the inside is from Mama Elephant, Scripty BDay. I heat embossed the inside sentiment using Ranger’s Liquid Platinum Embossing Powder. Adding a few purple enamel dots from my stash and my card was finished.

I would like to enter my card in the following challenges:

Through the Craft Room Door – Anything Goes

Digi ChooseDay Craft Challenge – Anything Goes

Gem of a Challenge – Anything Goes

World Wide Open Design Team Challenge Blog – Anything Goes

The Creative Crafters – Anything Goes

Thanks for stopping by. I hope you join us at Di’s Digi Challenge!
