Ice Cream Cone!

Who doesn’t want an ice cream ??? I used the Ice Cream Cone digital image from Di’s Digital Images for my card today. Join us at Di’s Digital Challenge for our new challenge, hand colored image.

I love working with digital images as you can re-size the image to fit your needs. After coloring my image, I used my Scan N Cut to cut the image out with a border.

I added some Nuvo Drops in Dark Walnut to add some chocolate chips to my chocolate sauce. Yummy! I also added some Glossy Accents to the cherries for a bit of a shine.

I used an older stencil I had to create a soft background on some Turquoise Sea paper from Gina K. I then added some pattern paper behind my image and then die cut the Happy Birthday (Simon Says Stamp and appears to be out of stock at the moment) from Vintage Pastel Mirror paper pad from Memory Box. The paper is a little thicker than most paper so I didn’t cut any additional paper to add behind the words.

Come join us over at Di’s Digital Challenge! You might win a free image!

I’m going to enter my card in the following challenges:
