A Little Crafting Time

My card today is my Design Team project for our new challenge at Di’s Digi Challenge, Ribbon and Lace.

I chose Izzy’s Spring Walk from Di’s Digital Stamps. This is from her 2022 collection and she is a cutie!

I colored the image using my Copic markers and then trimmed her down using the Inside/Out Stitched Rectangles Stax from My Favorite Things.

Since our theme this time is ribbon and lace, I needed to add some to my card. Unfortunately, I didn’t have any lace that would fit on my card. I remembered a stamp set that I purchased when I first began crafting from Gina K. It is an older rubber stamp set of lace borders. I used white embossing powder from Gina K and added a “lace” border to my card. (It was a little easier for me to add the stamped lace than actual lace….I always have trouble securing it to my cards! LOL!)

I used a Simon Says Stamp Hello die to cut out my greeting from some black shiny card stock. I cut it out three times from some white card stock to give the greeting some dimension. I added some ribbon between my image and pattern paper and then added some Carnation Pink Nuvo Drops to finish my card.
