Uptown Girl Bailey Has a Baby

On of my neighbors had a new baby in January and I knitted her a baby afghan. I also created her a card to go with the gift.

I choose Uptown Girl Bailey Has A Baby from Stamping Bella, as my image, which is perfect for a new baby card. I stamped the image using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and of course, I colored the image using my Copic markers.

After coloring the image, I heat embossed a sentiment from an older stamp set that I had. I used Memory Box Wrapped Stitched Rectangles to cut my image out. I mounted it on some pattern paper from my stash and then onto a pink card base.

Thanks for stopping by!

  1. How fun and beautifully colored Nancee! Our daughters were baby ‘wearers’ and middle daughter is a weaver and wove most of the wraps they used. So amazing and babies are so happy and secure. Precious… how fun to have a baby next door!
