Scruffy Puppy Cupcake

I have another birthday card to share today. I found this cute digital image at Di’s Digital Images. She has such cute images! This one is called Scruffy Puppy Cupcake. I love working with digital images as it gives you the option to resize the image to your needs.

After printing my image, I colored it with my Copic markers. I added some white gel pen dots to both the apron and cupcake paper.

I trimmed my image down an older die from My Favorite Things, Zig Zag Stitched Rectangles. I also trimmed a piece of pattern paper using the same die to adhere to my card behind the image.

I stamped my sentiment using Versa Mark ink and then embossed it with Gina K‘s Fine Detail White embossing powder. I added two more strips of brown cardstock behind my sentiment to raise it up a little bit. Finally, I added some Wedgewood Blue Nuvo Crystal Drops.

This was a fun image to color.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
