Babette the Butterfly

Well, it has been awhile since I have posted a card. Not that I haven’t been making them….just haven’t found the time to write my posts. LOL! And I thought I would have more time once we moved….LOL!

My great-niece celebrated a birthday recently and I thought this card was perfect for her. She has gotten the bug to create cards herself so I wanted to make her card extra special. I used Tiny Townie Babette the Butterfly from Stamping Bella. I stamped it using Memento Tuxedo Black ink and then colored it using my Copics.

After coloring her, I used the matching die to cut her out. I also cut out several more using white card stock so I could give her some dimension. The sentiment and sign are from another Stamping Bella stamp set, Edna Blows a Kiss Hanging Sign Base. I used the matching die and also cut several more using white card stock so I could also give it dimension.

I used Pinpoint Leaf Plate from Memory Box to create a background for the image. I added my background to a Gina K Passionate Pink card base.

To finish it off, I added some Sherbert Shimmer Nuvo drops to her wings and Sunlit Meadow Nuvo drops to the background.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
