We have a lot of female birthdays in our family and the Bundle Girls make great birthday cards. Stamping Bella has a number of these images. This one is called Bundle Girl with a Foxglove.

I colored the image with Copic markers and then cut the image out using My Favorite Things, Stitched Scallop Basic Edges 2 dies.

I have seen the “reverse stencil” effect and thought I would give it a try for my background. I inked up my base cardstock with some Blue Lagoon, Wild Lilac, and Passionate Pink ink from Gina K. I then placed my stencil over the inked card stock and used My Favorite Things Black Licorice ink to cover the stencil. I love the result and will probably do this technique again.

I stamped my sentiment in Versa Mark ink and then embossed it with white embossing powder. I used a punch to cut the sentiment out and then added it to my card. I adhered my background and die cut to a card base of Wild Lilac from Gina K.

I added some crystal bling and my card was complete.
Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!

She’s adorable! And foxgloves make me nostalgic for our childhood garden… lovely.
