Happy Birthday

I needed another birthday card but with most of my craft supplies still unorganized, I created a simple card using just a die cut.

I didn’t do any coloring on this card! Oh my! I used the “happy” die from Honey Bee Stamps. I cut the die from my pattern paper and then die cut it three more times from white card stock. I glued the die cuts together and then glued the pattern paper die cut on top.

I stamped the “Birthday” from Simon Says Stamp‘s Big Number stamp set (I’m not sure if it is still available) on the pattern paper. I carefully lined up the “happy” back into the pattern paper. I added this to a card base of Turquoise Sea from Gina K.

The pictures really don’t do the card justice. It was a little hard to photograph. I added some sequins for some sparkle.

I added some sequins and my card was complete.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!

I like that almost water-droplet effect. It goes well with the clear cut Happy…
