I’ve used this image before for a baby shower card.  Today I used the image for a new baby, my new granddaughter!  Alexandra Grace was born November 14, four days before my birthday, and six days before her mother’s birthday.

I also made her a baby blanket, pink of course.

I used my Copics to color the image.  The image is Baby Ellie by Conie Fong.  I think it is so cute and perfect for a new baby or baby shower.

After coloring the image, I trimmed it down and then added some lace to the back of the image.  I mounted that on some patterned paper.  I cut some small strips of glitter paper and added it to the side of the patterned paper.  I then adhered it to the card base.

I add a couple of highlights with my white gel pen and added Glossy Accents to the hearts in the wheels.  I used my purple Atyou Spica Glittern Pen pen to the dots on the rattle for some sparkle.  I wanted the white dots on the stroller to “pop” a bit, so I added some White Nuvo Drops.  With that, my card was done.
