A Little Crafting Time

I needed to make some quick Valentine’s Day cards so I opted to go simple.

I used the Simon Says Stamp Heart Banner die to cut out from the front of my cards.  The die cut is really nice as it cuts both the inserts and the trim around the hearts with one cut.  I first cut the die from my card stock.  I then die cut the same die from some black card stock.

I then cut the hearts from some Valentine paper.  I had a larger heart die with a smaller heart that I used to cut out the hearts on my base.  I used the same dies to also cut the inserts.  Once I had all of my pieces, it was just a matter of putting the “puzzle” together.  My sentiment is from the Stamping Bella Cupid Chicks stamp set.

I was really happy with how this card turned out.  It was quick and easy.
