Masculine Birthday Card

With January comes some of those “dreaded” masculine birthday cards.  I don’t seem to have a problem creating a child’s birthday card, or one for a female, but those masculine birthday cards seem to sometimes stump my creativity.

I have been looking and purchasing more and more digital stamps.  Polkadoodles is one of those stamp companies that has such a large variety of stamps and that is where I found Electrician, Plumber, Mechanic, Tradesman, Repair Man, DIY.  What a versatile stamp!  I colored him up using my Copic markers, the colors I have listed at the bottom of my post.

For the “silver”, I added some dots of silver pen from Atyou Spica.  I just discovered these pens and love them.  It’s like coloring in small specks of glitter.  I thought it was perfect for the “tools”.

I layered him up on some different papers from my stash.  I stamped my sentiment and then added some Copper Penny Nuvo drops to finish my card.
