Penguin Swings

Yep, another Penguin stamp.  This one is called Penguin Swings and is from Whimsy Stamps.  Isn’t she a cutie?  (But aren’t they all????)

This is a digital stamp, and I made her a little larger that I normally do.  I colored her with my Copic markers.

I added some small white dots with my white gel pen to five the dress some pattern.  I needed to keep this card relatively flat as I was mailing it, so I added my image to some pattern paper and adhered it to my card.

My sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp‘s Big Numbers.  I stamped the sentiment using some Stamping Up ink, and then embossed it with clear embossing powder.

I added some Purple Rain Nuvo drops and my card was complete.

    I love how you can get the shine and reflection on the penguin – I can never get that type of appearance. Love your penguin she is so cute 🙂

      Thanks Cobs! I have found some really cute stamps lately. I have been looking at digital stamps lately. I’m really liking them as you can resize them. They are also a lot easier to store! LOL!

        Arent they just?
        Trouble is …. I’m old fashioned and like the stamped image. Plus ink stamps are quite cheap. Printer ink is actually more expensive than the most expensive champagne in the world.
        Did you know that? It’s true. I read it a few years ago and so did some research. It turned out to be totally true, and surprised the heck out of me.
        But … the digital stuff does save on space.

    Oh my goodness, I love your taste in penguins, she is so adorable. The pattern you created looks like it was stamped, you are a pro. This card just makes me happy looking at it. I am sure receiptent felt the same way!
