A Little Crafting Time

I so love these cute little penguins from Whimsy Stamps!  There are quite a few of them, and they are all adorable.  This one is Penguin Prezzie.

My card today was made for a little girl to give to her grandmother, whom she calls “Bam Bam”.  I thought this cute little penguin would be the perfect image to use.

I decided to use my colored pencils on kraft paper.  I used my Polychromo pencils on this one.  I love the look as I think the kraft paper really makes the colors pop.  I have listed all the colors I used at the bottom of this post.

I had some pretty pattern paper that I thought would make a great background for the image.  I thought the colors would give a great contrast to the colored image.  After assembling the card, I created a computer sentiment and popped it up with some foam tape.

I have had the Twine & Bows die from Pretty Posh Pink for some time but haven’t used it very often.  I thought it would be the perfect accent at the bottom of the card.  I also added some Nuvo Crystal Drops in Sweet Lilac and Caribbean Ocean to the front.  This completed my card.
