My sister needed a card for a friend’s daughter’s birthday. Â I wanted to do something a little different. Â I decided to use my colored pencils on kraft paper.

I turned to my Stamping Bella stamps for this card. Â I used Uptown Girl Farrah Loves Flashdance and colored her up using my Prismacolor colored pencils.

After coloring Farrah, I decided I needed something a little more on the card. Â I love those chicks from Stamping Bella, so decided to incorporate them into my card. Â You know you have to be in good shape to party, so what better chicks to grace the card than the Sweaty Chicks! Â LOL!

Instead of stamping my sentiment on the card or popping it up, I decided to have it “recessed” into my card. Â I created the sentiment on my computer, and then die cut the frame from my kraft paper. Â I of course had to add some Nuvo Drops to the card. Â I used Blue Lagoon Glitter Drops and Pink Champagne Glitter Drops.

Hope you enjoyed today’s card! Â Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!
