Well, I’m back to birthday cards! I have quite a few coming up over the next several months and I needed to get started on them.
My great-nephew had a birthday recently and I choose this cute stamp from Whimsy Stamps. Isn’t it just adorable! It’s called Penguin Birthday.

I colored it up using my Copic markers. I have listed the colors I used at the bottom of my post. After coloring my image, I used Spellbinders Gold Labels Four to cut the image out. I used the largest die, but wanted to mat my image, so I traced around the image with a pencil and “fussy” cut the mat out.

I used the “Happy Birthday” die from Simon Says Stamp. I wanted to give it some shine and had some foil paper. I wanted to see if I could foil the die. I cut the die from some toner paper and then ran it through my laminator. I was happy with the results so used it on the card. (It is hard to take photos of foil!)

To finish the card, I added some Dazzling Blue Glitter Drops and some Dandelion Yellow Gloss Crystal Drops…I just had to add those Nuvo drops!

Thanks for stopping by!
Happy Crafting!
