Uptown Girl Ava Loves to Celebrate makes a great birthday card for a female family member. 

I used my Copics to color her up and then cut her out using one of the dies from My Favorite Things, Blueprints 22.

I wanted to do something different for the background, so I used another one of the dies from the same Blueprints 22.  I also used some paper from the Lawn Fawn Perfectly Plaid 6 X 6 paper pack.  I just love those plaids!

I used Edna Blows a Kiss Hanging Sign Base die and stamp to make a sign for my sentiment.  I used the Happy Birthday from the same set and heat embossed it.  I also cut the die from fun foam so I could pop the sentiment up.  I really liked the way the sign turned out.
