The weather has turned warmer, so my crafting time will start to become harder to fine. We love to spend time outdoors, so I don’t have as much time to spend creating cards….unless of course, it rains! The next four months have a lot of birthdays in my family, so I need to make the most of my time! LOL!
Uptown Girl Ava Loves to Celebrate made a great birthday card.
Using Copic markers I colored her in some springtime colors. I used Lawn Fawn’s Stitched Rectangles to cut her out and create a mat to mount her onto. I then mounted the mat on some fun foam to add some depth to the card.
A close up of Ava…
The patterned paper is from my stash. I thought they went well together. I used a die from the Mama Elephant Borderlines Trio to create the stitched scalloped border to put between my papers….it doesn’t show up very well however. LOL!
I had recently purchased some Heidi Swapp tags that are ready to be foiled. I have the Minc Mini, so I decided to foil a couple of the tags for my card. I really liked how they turned out. I also added some glossy accents to the icing on the cake and some Pink Peonies sequins from Pretty Pink Posh to finish my card.
One final look…
Happy Crafting!
