Another birthday card, this time using a stamp from Stampendous, Cupcake Belly. I just love those little mice!
I used my Copic markers to color him up. To make the “frosting”, I mixed some Embossing Paste with some Wilted Violet Distress Ink to get a pretty violet color for the frosting. After adding it to the cupcake, I added just a drop to the mouse’s face…you can tell he just loved the cupcake!
To make the background, I used the same paste with Simon Says Tiny Spaced Hearts stencil. It added just enough detail to the background.
To make the candle shiny, I added some glossy accents over my Copic coloring.
The sentiment is from Gina K, Birthday Blessings which I embossed with clear embossing powder after stamping the greeting with Simon Says Stamp Thistle dye ink. If you add the clear embossing fast enough, you can emboss with dye ink. I used a die from Stamping Up Framelits collection, Deco Labels.
Some sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and the card was complete.
Happy Crafting!
