Race for the Cure……

On the Saturday before Mother’s Day the annual Race for the Cure is held here in Peoria.  This year will mark the 30th year of the Race.

Last week, a business associated informed us that she has been diagnosed with breast cancer.  Here is a link to a You Tube video of Lori’s story.  www.youtube.com/watch?v=xAsvvsNsvrE .

There are a lot of women in my family and we have been extremely blessed that only my maternal grandmother  was diagnosed with breast cancer.  My mother was in grade school when grandma had surgery.  She lived to the age of 92.  I have decided that I will be donating 20% of the sale of any card that I make to breast cancer.

I made this card for Lori…..

Here’s hoping for a success story from every woman who has been diagnosed with this disease.

Think Pink! Stay Strong! We support you!

Thanks for stopping by!
