A Little Crafting Time

With three nieces all due within a month of each other, I have several baby shower cards to make.  They are all due late January-February!  The first baby shower was this weekend, so I got busy and created this card using Gift from Heaven Tilda.  I decided to try a criss cross card again, and use the insert for a gift card holder.

I just purchased the Curved Borders Two from Spellbinders.  I saw a card with this die cut and just had to have it!  I think it adds a lot to the top of the pull out.  Love it!  I had purchased the paper when I first started making cards, but had never used it.  It is not from a paper pad, it is a single sheet that I had purchased at JoAnn Fabrics.

I used Delivery from Heaven on the inside of the card with a stamp that I had purchased some time ago.  I thought it added to the card.  I colored the images with my Copic markers.  I cut out the image and popped it up using dimensions.  I used a Spellbinder die to cut out Tilda and used some ink from Stampin Up to the background.

I also made an envelope to fit. When I made the criss cross card, I scored the sides twice, 1/8 inch apart to make sure that the gift card I attached would not get caught when the inside was slid up and down. I had cut an extra baby carriage and added it to the envelope.
