No Copics used (oh my!)

Another October birthday card.  This time, I tried something a little different.  I had purchased a 3D M-Bossabilities embossing folder, but hadn’t had a chance to try it out.  So I decided to make it the focal part of my card.

Here is what I came up with………

I decided to ink the embossed portion after I embossed the paper.  I carefully used a sponge and some white ink from Color Box.  I lightly rubbed over the raised portion.  I thought it came out pretty good.  I stamped the “Happy Birthday” in ink, but didn’t like the way it looked, so I went over it with my white gelly roll pen.  I thought it needed something in the middle of the flowers, so I used some of my pearls from my stash.

A side view showing the embossing………

And another……

On the inside of the card, I used the “Happy” and “Birthday” script Memory Box dies for one side and a stamp from LOTV for the sentiment, Birthday Recipe.

A peek inside……….

I didn’t use any Copics on this card (oh my!)

One final look……

I appreciate all of your comments and enjoying reading them!  Thanks for stopping by!  Smile🙂
