Happy Monday!  I had a very busy weekend, but unfortunately I did not get any new cards made.  My husband has decided to re-do my office/craft room.  I have wanted to re-do it for about six months as I spend so much time in there.  We have not repainted or put new carpet in the room since we moved into this house over 25 years ago.  I say it is definitely time!  This was the room that everything seemed to get put if we didn’t know where to put it.  We had to clean out the room before we could even think about painting.  When my Grandmother passed away I got her bedroom set.  This plus my computer desk, a love seat we inherited from my husband’s mother, my treadmill and sewing machine were also in this room.  As you can imagine, we had a LOT to clean out.  I have new “crafting” furniture to put in the room so we had a lot of furniture to donate.  My sister is taking my Grandmother’s furniture and we have donated the love seat to Goodwill.  The room is pretty empty now so my husband can paint, put up new woodwork, and I can get new windows and carpeting.  My husband is in kind of a hurry as he is retired and an golfer……golf season is approaching (although the temperature was 7 degrees today) and he said he has to have it finished before golf season starts, or it will be next winter before it gets finished!  I can’t wait that long!  All of my craft items are packed up awaiting the finished room.  Hopefully I can get back to crafting within the next two weeks!  I don’t know what I will do until then!!!!  At least I have my laptop so I can view all of my new friends cards and designs.  I would be lost without them!  LOL!
