Today’s birthday card uses embossing, die cutting and some ink blending. I used Waffle Flowers’ Boxed Cupcakes die and stencil for the focal point of my card.

I forgot to take photos of my process on this card as I needed to get it in the mail. Some birthdays just creep up on me. LOL!
The die set has the main piece which includes the box and cupcakes. There are several other dies to add all the embellishments. I used some of those dies to decorate the cupcakes.
I die cut all of the pieces from white cardstock. After die cutting the pieces, I used the matching stencil to add color to each of the pieces.
My sentiment is Birthday Wishes Moonlight Script from Poppy Stamps. I die cut it from some mirror cardstock.
For my background, I used the Rhythmic embossing folder and some Audrey Blue cardstock.

Once I had assembled the card, I added some white gel pen to add highlights to some of the die cuts. I also added the dots to the cupcake papers. To finish it off, I added some Glossy Accents to the cherries and candle flame to give them some shine. I added a few more highlights with my Atyou Spica glitter pens to some areas.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
