I have been trying this year to participate in Kristina Werner’s Mail Call each month. Today’s card was my submission for the July Mail Call. The theme for July was Get Well Cards.

My image is from Stamping Bella, however, it is no longer available. I love using this image for Get Well cards. Some of my photos appear to be blotchy. It is sometimes hard to photography my Copic coloring. I also neglected to take photos along during my process.

I pulled out my Copic markers and colored the image. I have listed the Copics I used at the bottom of my post.

After coloring the image, I decided to create a background. I simply added some color to the “walls” and then used a little darker marker to create the stripes. I did the same technique for the floor, using a light color all over and a darker color to create the “planks”.

I used the sentiment from the stamp set on the front of my card. I stamped it in Versa Fine Clair ink and added some clear embossing powder.

I didn’t add anything else to the front of the card as I wanted the image to be the focal point. I added a sentiment from the Grand Carnations stamp set on the inside of the card. (I forgot to take a photo of it.)
