There is always a need for Thank You cards. Today’s card is a pretty simple card that involves BetterPress, stenciling, die cutting and a little bit of ink blending.

The first thing I did was to use the BetterPress plate to add the image to my cardstock. I inked up the plate with black ink and ran it through my die cutting machine. This “presses” the ink into the paper creating a slight impression in the paper.

Once I had my image pressed into my paper, I used the laying stencils to add color to the images. There are two stencils for the flowers and two for the leaves. This allowed me to add two different colors to the image.
Once I had the images colored, I used the coordinating die to cut the image out. I also cut two additional images from white cardstock to add behind the image to give it some stability and some depth.
On another piece of cardstock, I added some ink using a blending brush. I didn’t want to add too much ink, only enough to add some light color to the middle.

For my sentiment, I die cut the words from some mirror cardstock from Memory Box. The sentiment also has a shadow die, which I cut from some white cardstock.
I added my ink blended panel to my card base and then my die cut image. Lastly, I added my sentiment to the middle of the card.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
