Waffle Flower Postage Collage Die and Beach Day Stencil Card

My card today is made using a specialty die and stencil from Waffle Flower. I recently made a card using a similar die and and some stencils from Gina K. The dies are similar, but a little different. With Gina K’s die, I used several different stencils. For this card, I used one layering stencil set.

  • I first die cut white cardstock using the Postage Collage die.
  • I inked up the first layer of the stencil set carefully lining up the stencil with the spaces.
  • After completing the first stencil, I then added each of the other stencils adding different color based on the image.

The Waffle Flower stencil is easy to line up as it has etched lines matching the die cut spaces. It is also nice as it shows on the stencil what you are coloring, such as “water”, “sand” and “sky”. This helps when choosing your colors.

Once I had my images colored, I added the images from the Postage Collage stamp which added the postage amounts and other postal sentiments.

  • I foiled my sentiment and then cut it out three additional times. I stacked the additional die cuts behind my sentiment so I could pop up the sentiment on my card.
  • I added my complete stenciled panel to a mat and then onto my card base.

This is a great die that you can either leave as one piece or cut each of the individual “stamps” apart for use on your card. I elected to keep it in one piece for this card.

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
