Today I have a much easier card to create. I only used an oval mask, some inks and a silhouette stamp set.

- I started by cutting a piece of white cardstock using Master Layouts #1. I also used the mat die to cut a piece of black onyx for my mat.
- I added the panel to my Ultra Sticky Mat and added the largest of the Masking Ovals centering the oval over my cardstock.
- I then began my ink blending starting with Sweet Mango towards the bottom and worked my way up with Passionate Pink, Wild Lilac, Tranquil Teal, Blue Denim and a little bit of Black Onyx.
- Once I was satisfied with the blending, I removed the mask.
When I do color blending, I start with my lighter color and then move onto the next lightest color making sure to overlap the blending. I will often go back to my previous color and go over the area where the two colors overlap. I repeat this process until I get a smooth blending. I repeat this process with each color.

- To finish my card, I added the ink blended panel to my Stamping Wheel and arranged my stamps so that they overlapped the white area of my panel.
- I then placed my sentiment in the colored area.
- Once I had all of the stamps where I wanted them, I inked them up and stamped them on my card.
- Because I used the Stamping Wheel, I was able to stamp them and re-ink them so I could stamp them a second time. Because I was stamping over ink, I did stamp the images a third time.
- I added my white card panel to the black mat and then onto my navy card base.
For a quick and easy card, I hope you give this a try. Ink blending a background can be used on any occasion card.
