One of my great nieces is an advid scoccer player. For her birthday I wanted to find an image of a soccer player. The Princess Wears Cleats from Whimsy Stamps is the perfect image. This is a digital image, so I re-sized it to fit my card. I thought this was such a cute image.

I referred to a photo of her in her uniform to choose the colors to color my image with my Copic markers. I added the pink using a Pink Star Gelly Roll pen and the images on the shirt with a White Gelly Roll pen.

Once I had my image colored, I cut it out with the stiched arch from Stitched Duo 3 by Pretty Pink Posh. I used Gina K’s Master Layouts 2 to cut my background panel from some Sea Glass card stock. I also cut a mat from Black Onyx cardstock. I searched through my stash for a soccer player and found a small image in the On the Horizon by Simon Says Stamp. I used the smaller image to create a background using Sea Glass ink. On my card base, I also used the same image with Powder Blue ink to match the Powder Blue card base.

My sentiment is from Radiant Roses Words Poly-Glaze sheets from Gina K. I used my Fuse to add the foiling in Brilliant Blue Holographic foil. I fussy cut the sentiment out before adhering it to my card.
Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
