A little something different today. It is a birthday card, but done with only foiling, a stencil and ink. The background stamp and stencil are Magnolia Pattern from Pinkfresh Studios.

I first heat embossed the background using the background stamp and some gold embossing powder. Once I had completed this step, I used the coordinating stencils to color the images. I used Simon Says Pawsitively inks in Amethyst, Orchid and Lilac as well as Fairway and Field. I also added some Deep Purple from the Hybrid line of inks. For my sentiment, I first foiled a small piece of Gina K’s Poly-Glaze paper and some Amethyst foil. Once I had my “foiled” cardstock, I used the Simon Says Stamp It’s Your Birthday die to cut out the sentiment. I used the shadow die to cut a piece of Gina K’s Lovely Lavender card stock. I added a few jewels from Pinkfresh Studios.
