Crab Legs for Your Birthday

One of my nieces loves crab legs. For her birthday, I wanted to make a card with crab legs for her.

I found this great image by Crissy Armstrong on Whimsy Stamps web site. It is a digital image ready to be colored. I created two images and sized them to fit on a standard card. I colored the images with my Copic markers. I used a black glaze and white gel pen on their eyes to make them stand out a little more.

I fussy cut the images out and then created my background using Gina K’s Sea, Sun and Sky. I used some Distress Oxide inks with the stencil to create the sky, sea, and sand.

I decided I wanted the crabs to “move”, so I added a large Action Wobble to the back of each crab. My sentiment was created in Word. After fussy cutting the sentiment, I added some VersaMark ink using a VersaMark pen and then added some clear embossing powder.

One last look….

Thanks for stopping by and Happy Crafting!
