I needed another masculine birthday card so I went through my stamp sets and came up with a theme for my card.

This was a very simple card to put together using the On the Horizon stamp set from Simon Says Stamp.

I masked off the sun and the horizon so I could add some color to the sky. I used Simon Says Stamps Pawsitively Saturated Inks. I then moved my mask and ink blended the sea. I moved my mask for a third time and ink blended the sand.

After ink blending my background, I added the palm trees and birds to my scene. For my sentiment, I used the “happy birthday” from another stamp set but I forgot to write the name down. LOL!

Since I was mailing the card, I didn’t add any embellishments to the card.
