Wow, has it really been almost 6 months since I have added to my blog?????? I have been pretty busy with a lot of things going on in both my personal and my work life, but I didn’t realize it has been 6 months since I have added any posts to my blog.
I have made some time to squeeze in a little crafting, but not as much as I would like. The next several posts will be “catching” up with some things I have made…unfortunately, I did not get photos of everything due to time constraints. 😦
As most of you know, I participate in the monthly classes at Kit and Clowder. Several months ago (probably longer than I think) there was a “special” class for members that featured coloring on candles. This really looked interesting to me, so of course, I had to try it.
It really was quite simple to do! I was really happy with my first attempt. I liked it so much, I gave it to my Mother for Mother’s day. Unfortunately, it was lost in the fire they had in their home in June….so I guess I will just have to make her another one!
It is really quite easy to do! I used my Copic markers to color the image and have listed the colors I used at the bottom of my post. The image is called “Happiness Is A Beary Rose”. It is a digital image by Di Digi Stamps.
Thanks for stopping by, and hopefully I will have more regular posts in the future!
Happy Crafting!

Thanks! Both were able to get out and the firemen saved their new puppy. House and belongings were pretty much totaled. Those can be replaced, lives can’t. I have a few more cards to share and am working on more! Thanks for stopping by!

I know what it’s like to look up and realize how much time has passed. I am glad your parents and their puppy are all safe, still hard to lose family momentos, pictures and your home. The red flower on this candle caught my eye, i love the shades of red and how much much it pops off the candle. Do you have to prep the candle first with something or just start coloring? It looks amazing!

It was a class from Kit and Clowder. You color on tissue paper and the use a heat gun to transfer the image to the candle. It was really pretty easy and fun to do! 😀
