Beach Girl

Oh summer is approaching!  Yeah!  I love the warmer weather!  I so dislike the cold and snow that winter brings.  I found this great digital stamp from Sheri Baldi called Beach Girl and thought she would make a great April birthday card!

I used my Copic markers to color her and have listed the colors I used at the bottom of my post.

After coloring her, I cut her out using Elegant Rectangle from My Favorite Things.  I cut two panels using Wrapped Stitched Rectangles from Memory Box out of some card stock and then mounted each a black panel.  I added those to my card front and then added some fun foam to the back of my image before adding it to my card.

I stamped my greeting from Simon Says Stamp, Brush Stroke Messages and heat embossed it using Ranger’s Liquid Platinum embossing powder.

I added some Nuvo drops in Rhubarb Crumble and Dandelion Yellow.  A few dots with my Atyou Spica Lemon pen and the card was complete.

Thanks for stopping by!  Happy Crafting!
