Magnolia Sunshine

One of my sisters had a birthday in February, on Valentine’s Day to be exact.  I wanted to make a card with flowers, so I turned to Poppy Power as they have some awesome floral images, both digital and rubber stamp.  I choose Magnolia Sunshine for my card.

I used my Copics to color the floral image.  I have listed the colors I used at the bottom of my post.

I wanted to keep my card simple so the flowers would be the focal point of my card.  I used Lawn Fawn‘s Large Stitched Squares to cut my image out.  I added (I’m not sure they are available anymore) some pattern paper to the side to make one long panel and then adhered the panel to my card.

My sentiment is from Simon Says Stamp, Birthday Bits.  I have used it several times before as I love the font.  I used My Favorite Things, Zig Zag Ovals to cut my sentiment out.  I added some Simon Says Stamp Doll Pink ink around the die cut.  It is the same color I used for my sentiment.

I added some Rhubarb Crumble and Morning Dew Nuvo Drops to the card.  My card was complete.

Thanks for stopping by!

Happy Crafting!
