Finally, a more feminine birthday card! LOL! I used an image from Poppy Power, Climbing Clematis. It is such a pretty image!
I colored the image with my Copic markers (listed at the bottom of my post) and then added more detail using my Polychromo pencils. Unfortunately, I did not keep track of the pencils I used. I really liked how it turned out and will probably do this again.
I cut an oval out of some darker purple paper and then added it over my image. Using a Silver Uni-ball Signo to add some “stitches” around the inside of the oval to add some interest.
I was mailing the card, so I wanted to keep it pretty flat. I heat embossed my sentiment on some vellum paper. I added some Nuvo drops in Violet Galaxy and Wisteria Purple to “hide” the adhesive I added behind the vellum. I added a few Silver Lining Nuvo drops to the image to balance everything.
