My niece recently turned 30 so I made her a special card for her birthday. The day didn’t start out very well, as while her car was parked in front of her parents home, it was struck by a neighbor from down the street. The vehicle had to be towed as there was extensive damage to the car and it was not driveable. Not a very good start to her 30th year! Once again, I turned to my Stamping Bella stamps. I choose Tiny Townie Garden Girl Poppy.
I used my Copics to color her. The colors I used are listed at the bottom of my post.
(Some of my markers need cleaning! They got a little sticky and wouldn’t blend well! Ugh! LOL! I have used them so much over the past two months that now they need a little tender loving care….cleaning! LOL!)
I’ve had the Eiffel Tower die for some time, and thought it would make a great background for this stamp. After die cutting it, I added some glitter embossing powder to give it some sparkle. I “distressed” my background paper and added some Tim Holz Vintage Photo ink to the edges.
I die cut my image using the matching die and also die cut some fun foam to pop her up. I wanted the “30” to be a little subtle, so I used some paper from the same paper pad as the paper I used as my background. I used the Stitched Numbers from My Favorite Things to cut out the numbers. I also cut the numbers from some fun foam so that they are also popped up.
And of course, I had to add some Nuvo drops. Red Berry seemed to go perfectly with the Copics that I used.
Thanks for stopping by!

Gorgeous Nancee! I’m sure your card made her day better even with the car getting crashed into! Crazy! ugh, I was cleaning red Copics yesterday. yuk. what a mess. I’ve started wearing gloves. Thinking about getting a jar so I can just throw the caps in to get the dried up off! lol

I use q-tips to clean my Copics and colorless blender ink. Works great! She is somewhat happy as she now has a 2018 car. Not happy she is out money because the other lady had no insurance. She was given several tickets but the judge dropped all of them including driving without insurance! Ugh! Not fair for someone who was totally innocent and did carry insurance!
