Love Story Squidgies

One of my sisters needed a wedding card for her neighbors who were getting married.  What better image to use but Love Story Squidgies from Stamping Bella.  I think they are just so cute!

I used my Copics to color the image and have listed the colors I used at the bottom of this post.   I used some different colors for the skin tones on this one and was pleased with how it turned out.

After coloring my image, I used my Stitched Rectangles from Lawn Fawn to cut our the image.  I wanted to keep the card simple to keep the focus on the image, so I used some red paper I had on hand to create a mat for the image.  I also cut some fun foam for the back of my matted image to pop it up.  My base paper was some paper I had on had that has a little shimmer to it.

For the yellow daisies I added some Dandelion Yellow Nuvo drops for the center.   The sentiment is from the same stamp set and I thought it was perfect for the card.  To finish the card, I added some Ruby Slipper and White Blizzard Nuvo drops.
